This series of four classes, teaches powerful visualization practices based on Buddhist Tantra. There are three stages in Tantric practice called preparation, generation, and completion for purifying one’s state of mind, and clearly accessing the subtle body. The intention is to experience non-duality. Simply put, these practices allow one to experience the present moment as sacred. All classes will start with a short meditation practice to identify one’s state of mind prior to visualization.
Monday, January 22nd - 7:30pm - 8:45pm
The first class teaches Deity Yoga, visualizing oneself as the deity in a perfected state.
Monday, January 29th - 7:30pm - 8:45pm
The second class teaches a visualization of the heart as a rainbow body of perfection.
Monday, February 5th - 7:30pm - 8:45pm
The third class expands the teaching on the rainbow body of the heart to include forms of the very subtle body as it exists in the heart inside the heart.
Monday, February 12th - 7:30pm - 8:45pm
Finally, the fourth class teaches the expansion of the rainbow body radiating from the heart and the appearance of the universe.
Since these classes involve visualization, it is recommended that potential students are comfortable with visualization practices. Some students are not able to visualize colors and consequently these classes are not practical. In this class, you are expected to be able to generate colors and forms.
