Jacqueline Lyons

Jacqueline grew up in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. During and after her college years she traveled abroad learning Spanish and experiencing the cultures of Spain, Cuba, and Costa Rica. Over the course of her summer breaks she continues to explore various culturally rich countries and deepen her yoga practice. Her yearning to learn and teach has always been infused within her. Now Jacqueline resides in Jupiter, Florida working as a Spanish teacher at Jupiter High School.

As a lifetime lover of nature and health, Jacqueline constantly moved her body through dance, gymnastics, running, and surfing. She was led to yoga through Rodney Yee’s DVDs. When she began attending classes at Native Yoga Center in 2008, practicing yoga transformed her life. Yoga Native Yoga Center is the most exciting and therapeutic part of her day.

Jacqueline recently began teaching after completing her 200hr RYT training with Todd and Tamara at Native Yoga Center in 2011. She has also been fortunate enough to attend summer classes with Rodney Yee in New York. She teaches with enthusiasm and strives to make every class full of heart, fun, challenge, and inspiration. Her knowledge of the asanas and the philosophy grows each day as she aims to become the best teacher she can she can be.
